HI,
Does anyone know how to do the chicks sexing? So confused from those article about How To Identify The Gender of Your Chicken.
Does anyone could share their experience, please. Really would like to learn it.

You can only sex by feathers if you know the chicks have the specific gene for it, so for backyarders it is not much use. Some breeds are easier to sex than others - usually by comb size and colour but also by how fast they feather up (males are generally slower) but breeds vary and cross breeds can be difficult. With experience you get better, but for the new owner it is really difficult, especially if it is only one chick. Best way is to post clear photos of the combs for people to look at. and tell us the age of the chicks.
