Hi,
My pekin hen has gone broody about 4-5 days ago & i ordered her pekin eggs 2 days ago (they will arrive tomorrow as not coming from too far) so by the time there under her she would've been broody for almost a week. Will she still still stay on the eggs long enough for them to hatch. Or will she abandon them a week before hatching? I've hatched chicks with a pekin bantam hen before but I can't remember when I got the eggs.
Thank you ! :clnava

Also will the eggs still hatch after 2-3 days of being in the post?
Thanks! :fx

Hatch rates are usually lower for posted eggs but if they've been carefully packed and come from healthy stock you should still get a result :) Fingers crossed for some chicks!

Your hen will keep sitting till the eggs hatch. They don't count the time, they just sit till chicks appear, however long that is.
