Thank you for your response NellyG. Everything about “him” screams rooster, especially compared to our other silkie, but in a bit of denial because we’ll have to send it away :(

Is there anywhere in Perth/Peel (West Aust) region to re home roosters rather than send it to it’s death ?

He looks gorgeous with his flowing neck feather "mane"........ Perhaps he won't be noisy? :hiding

You could live in hope of an egg.... .? I never give up with silkies until there's crowing or eggs.

I dont know of anywhere to rehome roosters unless someones is after a silkie boy (which isn't common in the suburban area) Good luck rehoming him.
