Hi

We're looking to start raising some quails for eggs and have done a bit of research into the hutch, feed, etc. But the aspect that doesn't seem to have been addressed is where to source quail chicks or fertilised eggs? I'm in Australia and have only seen a few "fertile eggs" on Gumtree. But how do you tell if the eggs were indeed fertile and properly treated?

Any advice appreciated.

Hi John, what State are you in - there are quite a few good reliable quail breeders (as well as the usual suss ones) around. And yes this is an Australian forum, you've come to the right place.
