My turkey hens are obsessed with each other. Had to separate them as a serious injury was about to happen. Previous to this they got along really well. Is this normal?

as I have stated in your welcome thread:

this normal, it is breeding season and the girls are fighting over the male. Once one of them have been serviced and starts looking for a nest the other one will then be able to present itself to the male with out any fights.

Thank you broken bird, ,these girls are savage, should I let them go or separate them? My dislike for guinea fowl is due to neighbour having so many which eat my poultry food. Otherwise they are kinda cute, noisy though, maybe in small quantitys ok! :)

When I was in Townsville I bought 2 guinea fowl. Paid $18 each for them.
Kept them locked up in run for weeks. The first day I let them free range with the chooks they took off. Never saw them again. :!:
