When I get the time I will do all keets seperate, then half grown & adult of each colour so people can reference.

Yes some silver & white piccies would be great & not grainy pictures pinched from the US sites.
Silvers might pop up but genuine whites, hmmmmmm!!
I have seen the blacks tho which look awesome, but was not allowed to take photos, they are very dark purple with no spots.

Thankyou for adding the pics Nelly! I must have missed this thread

I will try and get some better quality ones with natual lighting- especially of the Silvers as that seems to be what people are most interested in :)

Here are some more of my little guys...

Image
A reasonable comparision between the lav and the silver. Note the plum eye in the silver and the very washed out colour compared to the blue of the lavender keet. Also note these birds are NOT related, the silver keet came from two cinnamon birds kept in a breeding pen, the lavender is from lav X lav parents.

Image
Silver keet

Image
I included this one again to compare the silver to the lav, the flash really shows the difference in there eyes.

Image
A better representation of all the colours in natural lighting- silver bub hiding under his/ her mates.

I will continue to add pics as they grow if people are interested.

:-D

Love your work.
It will be interesting to see how the silvers mature, people say there is not a very noticable difference between the lav & silver in colour, but at keet stage it is.

Just looking back at this thread, I am sad to say that I have lost six cinnamons and one silver to what I can only assume is a fox this season.... leaving me with only two young cinns and two silvers.

It is so sad losing them, I put so much work into hatching and raising the little guys, and the cinns I treasure because I lost so many during, and not long after hatching. The four that were taken last week were just maturing, they were almost the size of the adults..... three hens and a cock!!

I will post some pics of the remaining silvers again as they mature!
