At what age are guinea fowl mature enough and ready to show?

One would think around 12 months of age would be fine.

I got onto broke bird and this is what he said!

When exhibiting Guinea Fowl, there are no judges out there that know what they are look at, so they will 90% of the time pick the biggest, 9% puick the nicest looking (whatever that means) and 1% a birds that means the standard.

To me the bird should first mean the standard, then be symmetrical, then large.
