The story, painting and pigeon rings are on display at the FCAQI Museum at the Historical Village in Caboolture.

I feel sorry for the breeders of the racing pigeons, but what an interesting story! Clearly the hawk developed a taste for the birds. I wonder if that was a region where races were regularly run, so that it had an easy meal? Thanks for sharing!
