My peahen started sitting on a nest. She sat for about 36 hours then didn't sit last night. She is back on the nest today. Will the eggs still be viable? It was about 15 C last night outside.

Since it's early days in the incubation period the eggs may well be just fine. It's definitely worth persevering with them. :)

Oh they are lovely looking little things. Sort of longer and leaner looking than chickens.

Yes very cute. Most striking feature for me was the big eyes. Mother hen very attentive but when she gives up in a couple of months I'll see if I can get them to tag along with their real parents to learn how to be peacocks... Poor things they'll need a bit of rehab after being raised by a chook!
