The three survivors that I hatched are colouring up to be two cocks and a hen, they are so different to King quails , they are very timid and certainly have an exceptional ability to fly. Can fly in a straight line and can perch on high perchs will have to remove one cock Bird soon. They are being feed pullet grower at what age and what do I need to change their feed too

Removed the spare cock quail, still amazed at how different the California quails are as compared to King quails. They perch at night and can fly and land from perch to perch in the avairy. They are very timid even though I have hand raised them. Are about 1/2 coloured now, not noisy, the one by itself is not impressed but I have read.cock birds are aggressive so didn't want them fighting.
