Nice pair gorang, the housing looks good to. Do you clip the cocks wing in breeding season, have you had a particular nasty cock Bird. Still have the young ones I picked up a couple of weeks back in together, positive that one is a cockerel and Enougher two are hens but the fourth still unsure as he's eyes still look like a light brown, Maybe a girl yet. If it's a girl can you run them as a quad or only as pairs.

Thanks Mycoola
Yes, you can run them as a quad.
I keep 3 trios and 1 pair my self.
These Goldens are really good quality pure Goldens, so happy with them.
I got them from Dr Danny Brown, amazing bloodline , also have a trio of Amhersts . I'm so happy with them.
I'm also in search of other breeders bloodlines, but also top quality birds.
If someone knows someone who has pure pheasants,
Pls let me know, I will be more then happy to swap or buy some new blood.
Thank you

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with the goldens cock when he killed 2 females, just got too exited when they got up from the nest after 3 weeks.
That is something that you will need to keep eyes on, you never know what is on their mind.
He was good boy for years and than it happened.
I never clipped cocks wings!
Is any particular reason to clip them off.
Housing is pretty good, I wouldn't mind if is double the size, but I live in Melbourne and have limited back yard space I have to be happy.
Cheers, GORAN
