Hey all, I will finally be getting back into birds and poultry, I want to get a jumbo jap quail preferably a female
italian or manchurian gold as I've previously had one and she was the most docial of the bunch and my favourite.

I have found someone that sells jumbo, giant and Goliath quails and fertile eggs from them, I looked into them a little to be sure Goliath ones were real and satisfied that they are am considering getting some.

It got me wondering whether they live the same amount of time as the normal sized ones or like with giant sized of other animals they have a shorter life span and health problems such as the heart, hips and spine due to the extra size.

Just wondering if anyone knows the answer please.

I guess you're asking because you are suspicious that the bigger ones are not as long-lived? That's my suspicion too but that's not based on any evidence!
