Sad to report that we lost one of our lovely Isa Brown girls, Blue (well, she WAS a redhead!) today.

Not sure what the cause was, possibly from our misadventure with the drake we thought was a duck. Blue had been fairly listless recently, not moving around much at all, sleeping a lot and with laboured breathing. She'd get up and walk around a bit and have something to eat, but then just go back to sleep.

Hi Pete,

So sorry to hear about Blue. She could also have had reproductive issues that led to her demise - sadly, ISAs are notorious for EYP and reproductive cancers, etc. They tend to hide their illness till it's too late, too. :upset:

RIP Blue :hug
