Someone is trying to sell Rufus the rooster on ebay for $150

I'm pretty sure that listing won't be there for long.

Was trying to work out what breed he was. Poor Rufus. Have to agree, doubt he'll be up for long.

That's hilarious! I didn't realise I could sell my roosters for that sort of money. Just think - I was planning to eat my fortune!

"No returns accepted"

It is a very raunchy bugger so excellent for breeding.
This is a pure free range model and brought up on selected food so it is very fit.

Rufus is a 'pure free range model'. He's been brought up on selected food and wouldn't contaminate his body with chemicals.

Rufus crossed the road because he's a 'raunchy bugger'. I want to know what was on the other side.

You would probably need a bank loan to buy No1.

While I have bought some things off Ebay .I had one experience where I was top bidder something like $11 for some fly tying materials .
Got 2 emails one you have won the auction second item removed from sale .Then saw it again the same day .
So 1 cent may win u the bird but u may never seen him.

The rooster wont make it to the end. You cant sell animals on ebay - sooner or later it will get noticed or reported and the listing removed.

On the other ebay matter - what that seller did was against ebay rules. Once "the hammer drops" you own the object and the seller cannot decide it didn't make enough money and withdraw it. You would have had very good cause to successfully complain to ebay.

The seller may have had other reasons to withdraw it that would be acceptable but an ebay sale is a contract under law. One of the reasons so many sellers add the line "you are bidding to buy, not to view and negotiate". It works both ways.

Mike
