I just had to share this funny video ...
Zena, my warrior princess Isa Brown, gets REALLY angry when Roxy, my red heeler drinks out of 'her' water tub. Every time she sees Roxy drinking water she bolts across the garden and chases her. One day Zena came up behind Roxy and gave her a double legged rooster style karate kick right in the butt. It was soooooo funny. I wish I had that on video.
Thankfully my dog has been trained around my chickens since she was 8wks old and she is brilliant with them.
I have another video of Roxy sleeping in the coop with my silkies having a dust bath right next to her. I'll download that video too.
So here is my tough girl Zena. They do this all the time.

Youre exactly right casscat. Roxy is an incredibly intelligent dog. She provokes the chickens on purpose because she loves being chased. Her motivation for everything is to have fun !

Ok so here is the next instalment ... a sleepy Roxy being disturbed by my girls enthusiastic dust bathing !
She often sleeps in their coop. Its tiring babysitting chickens all day

I came across another video I'd taken during summer when Roxy learnt the chickens come first and she has to wait her turn !
Zena gets a little too close for comfort to Roxys eye in this video.
