Hi There
Has anyone had problems with scrub turkeys eating their chickens eggs? MY chickens free range all day and can come and go to lay eggs as required, but so can the scrub turkeys!!

Extremely frustrated chicken lover!!

Oh dear, thanks for that. Sounds like you have some experience of this problem. My love of scrub turkeys knows no bounds!

Cheers

With a dozen or so around the place, I tend to take the glass half full approach these days.

The mounds provide great compost after they have finished using them.

They greatly reduce the bush fire danger by clearing all the leaves and branches.

They terrorise the local goannas until they clear off.

And lastly, their whole mating, nesting, territorial behavior is quite fascinating :-)
