I think he's found the cream gene (ig) that is an autosomal recessive. Of course it only expresses in a gold background which is of course sex-linked.

It's interesting, I suspect several silver breeds like the Silver Campines have ig as it may help to brighten the silver colour. Of course it's not till a couple of generations of criss crossing that it can turn up homozygous on a gold background.

Don is describing it as a breed although his description says that it was developed for Seabrights, Campines and Spangled ? so I'm a bit confused (unless there was a typo and it was developed FROM these breeds) and is now breeding true. I would love to know some more background.

These I didn't like .
I thought the type erratic and coloration as well. Several types of comb .
The aracuanas were nice and I see why but these not so much
