On a lighter note, I just took a video of one of my pullets climbing s ladder and flying from the top onto our roof. It now appears to be attempting to nest. Maybe I'll find an egg up there later haha.

What breed is she benen? Would love to see the video! She does indeed sound like an adventurer!

Haha. She is no purebred. I purchased a few chickens from a poultry farmer and hatched from the eggs. She is mostly white with a black tail and half black beak.

All of the young ones are starting to lay. Easy to tell who is putting in effort and who isn't though!

:yess What emu did you cross with that chicken to get an egg that size? You are doing well, but did you find the egg on the roof?

Haha. Yeah I end up with some enormous eggs sometimes!
No egg on the roof that I could find.
