Hi there,

I have 4 pet chickens and one sneaky one has been getting out. I'm still not certain how but I'm working on a couple of theories. It's making me wish though there was a way I could label them so people could get my chicken back to me as I'm guessing if she's running around my area she'd be occasionally spotted as I live in town. I could microchip them but I don't think anyone would think to check it on a chicken if they found her would they? I know you can get leg tags but they seem to only fit a couple of numbers and are designed for the owner to distinguish their own chickens. I'd love to be able to attach my mobile number or address to them somehow without bothering them too much. Or if anyone knows whether places like RSPCA and vets would ever scan for a chip on a chicken that would be good to know.

Thanks for any advice!
