Researchers at Flinders University are investigating the spread of Salmonella and routes of contamination in backyard chickens.

They are looking for volunteers with backyard chickens who would be willing to complete a short survey and allow the researches to collect soil, water and chicken faeces samples from your backyard. This will then be tested for Salmonella.

If you would like to be a part of the study please contact Thilini Keerthirathne for more information by emailing keer0004@flinders.edu.au
