Bought them few months ago and previous owner never know how old they r. As i think the hen is definitely
older then the cockerel. The hen has laid twice now since i got her and the cockerel has never crowed. Haven't seen him on top of her yet :) and guess he might be gay :)

People more experienced with the breed will probably be able to help more but in general a closer view of the head and legs and feet of your birds may be useful if you could post a few more photos. :)

There is at least one thread here, that I didn't locate in a brief search, which asks about getting an idea of ages of chooks for example at an auction or market.

Your best bet is to hatch out a clutch and see what results :) Sometimes things click, and you get superior birds (very rare), most times you get a average mix, and just pick the best to work with. Looks like your off to a reasonable start :)
