I have one is a white leghorn who started crowing just before Christmas who is ready to go to someones pot he's currently at my parents place due to the constant crowing from sun up to sun down. I'm located in Warwick, QLD if anyone is interested in him (and if my mum hasn't given him away to someone else in the meantime)

Buy, swap, sell - I'd prefer to know they are going somewhere to be cared for or eaten & not given & then sold. :(

QChick, are you still interested in taking unwanted cockerels? I live in Kangaroo Valley and occasionally have boys I can't find homes for. I have 2 at the moment and I am happy to meet you in Berry or Nowra. I am a newbie at posting on BYP so what is the easiest way to contact you?

Hi Eventrider

I know what you mean!

If you're in a real hurry to get rid of your boys put an ad on Gumtree with the word 'free' in it. I had 2 to give away this weekend and could have given away 22!
I've given away quite a few boys lately and it's surprising how many are going to be pets for kids. That said I know the majority are for the pot.

Eventrider,

I have been given 3 cokerals recently. Even I have said I can collect between Sydney and Camden, I can't accept your kind offer until they are grown.

Thank you for offering in this thread,

Kiew

Hi everyone.

I am in Daylesford, country VIC.

I have just started sexing my Araucanas (about 10 weeks old) and you guessed it, at least half of them are boys!! If anyone would like some please contact me. Various colours including lavender, splash, white (?) black, etc.... Standard size. Good quality parents. Highly suitable for breeding. Most hand raised, so should be easy to tame as pets.

I haven't had time to count but at least a dozen or so.

Also (same age) bantam light sussex cockerels and Pekin cockerels (mainly cuckoo and birchen).

Alina.
