I have 2x roosters. Not sure what breed but very handsome and prob taste good too! 4 1/2 months old. One black with brown flecks and one white. Both very good size.
They have starting crowing and quite frankly as we only got one hen from the eggs starting to worry about her getting humped !
Pick up Coolum Beach Sunshine Coast QLD

Sue 55, I am still waiting on the transport re picking up the lovely pullets from you. Two almost-arrangements fell through, now I'm awaiting a call-back from a friend going up that way shortly. And I have a quote from a pet courier (but they're not going that way for a couple of weeks yet).

I could also take two or three roosters to lighten your pen at least, and can place them locally with chook people (if they would travel with the pullets).

Thanks PC, no rush for the chooks, they're laying their keep and i've set some eggs 14/16 looking good at day 10. I slipped them under a broody Muscovy last night. First time mum so I hope she knows where her feet are.

TAKEN
On my first go at raising baby chicks, I got 5 roosters and 2 hens . They are Lohmann's. I wanted to have them processed, but I couldn't find anyone in the area to do it for a good price.

The good news is they are now free to take.

I'm in Penrith NSW. They are now 14 weeks old and have to go this week, as they are bullying my other chickens.
