I have a hen with a pale comb, dirty bottom,hard white stuff on skin near rear end and she doesn’t want to use her legs which don’t seem to have much muscle left on drum stick . She is still eating well any thoughts please

First thought is worms, which could cause all those symptoms. When was she last given a worming treatment and what did you use?

Could also be vent gleet a type of thrush/fungal infection, give it the sniff test, smells pretty bad, a hard cheesy substance which when removed reveals red and sometimes bloody flesh.

I had a hen which used to get it a couple of times a year, warm salty baths around the vent with plenty of savlon inside and out a couple of times a day should fix it in a few days.

As Rach said it also sounds like she could do with worming.
