dip the rest of the chooks and this time it was easyer, surprising, as there was nine, to do, but this time I was a bit more quitter to catch them before dipping.

cleaned there coop.

AND NOW EVERYTHING IS SPOTLESS EVEN THE GIRLS.

now I am hoping the tails grow make.

That's great! I'm sure the mites are now all gone.

It will be good to repeat this every year. I'd even repeat it in Spring, when the weather starts to warm up.

Use your own judgement. Check thru the feathers from time to time. Look under the vent for greyish cocoons at the base of the feathers - they are the lice eggs. If there is any sign of bugs, treat the chooks and dust the pen. Otherwise a yearly good pen clean out and pyrethrum spray should keep things under control.

The vent is the hole that the poop and the eggs come out of.
