Hi all,

This might seem like a totally stupid question but can bumble foot get better on it's own?? I was given a lovely girl from a friend who seemed to be in a bit of bad shape......really really bad scaly leg, mites and what I thought was a case of bumble foot (a black spot/scab about 6-7mm diam with a bulbous pad that was warm to the touch and I thought she had a very slight limp). I was SO sure it was bumble foot that I ordered some goods on line in preparation for firstly trying a non surgical method and if that was unsuccessful then, god forbid, doing surgery on her. I have looked at many many youtube videos and images on the subject so I could be as fully informed as possible...........well..........tonight I thought I would give her a good check over as it has been a couple of weeks since I had done her legs and checked her mites and to my surprise when I checked her foot the black spot was gone. There is only a couple of tiny rough areas and the heat in the pad is also gone.

My only thought now is maybe it was a callous and thank heavens I didn't do the surgery on her (to tell you the truth I was terrified at the thought of it). :clnava

Yes, I have seen this happen, too. I think she may have gotten on top of the infection by herself, and then it just healed.

Good luck with your lovely girl.
