Just found these things moving on a dropping in the fowl house.
What are they and what is the best medication for treating.
I have five 22 week old Ancona, all look very healthy and very active.
Thanks

Possibly tapeworm.

Best wormer to use would be Wormout tablets which cover all intestinal worms, including tapeworm. As you give the tablets by mouth you can be sure each bird has had the right dose. Dose is - 1 tablet per 2kg of chook. So a 1kg bird would be half a tablet, an average 2kg chook one tablet and a 4kg chook 2 tablets. I give my bantam 1 tablet and my Australorps 2 tablets. I’d give Anconas 1 tablet.

This is tapeworm, each white thing is just a segment of the worm, filled with eggs. The worm is much longer, a head shedding the segments.
