Hi everyone. I have a rooster with canker. He’s been on a course of Flagyl which didn’t clear it up and is now almost finished a week on Ronivet. I had a look down his throat this morning and it actually looks like the plague is getting worse. He’s been to the vet twice and I’m reluctant to take him again and I’m just wondering how treatable this illness is and is normally so hard to get rid of? As for the rooster, you wouldn’t know he’s ill. He’s eating, crowing, poos are normal etc. I’m not really sure what to do next. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Did the vet check a scraping under the microscope to prove the cause? Could it be fungal?
