I've heard a rumor that Justin from AniTrans is giving up his run. I hope this isn't true as we used him with great success in the past. I've e-mailed him with no response yet.

Can anyone verify that Justin is still in business please? I need birds transported from Queensland.

Cheers,

Linz :)

That's bad news. Is there a similar run done by any other company? Anyone?

Cheers,

Linz :)

I recently used Neil from Southern Cross Poultry Services -

Edited 16/5/2012 to add - Given that I cannot contact Neil or anyone at Southern Cross on the contact numbers (not connected) or email addresses provided I recommend that you use an alternative transport company.

Red River Poultry Transport
We transport poultry on runs both north and south about once per month depending on demand. We charge $15 per 100 kms travelled, a flat $20 for each additional pen. Pen size can hold 3/4 birds. EG Sydney/Canberra is 290 kms, so 3 x $15 is $45.

They are on facebook.

There is still room to get your poultry on this delivery trip - bookings need to be made as soon as possible via the website http://www.anitrans.com.au or via phone 07 40 970 207. I am leaving Cairns on Friday morning the 16th March at 5 am. At this stage of the planning I do not have time to keep checking PM so website and landline quotes/bookings only please

:thanks:

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to know if anyone has heard from Neil from Southerncross Poultry?
I was expecting a delivery of day olds off him, and the last I have heard from him was last Monday and he was stuck in the Wagga floods and was hoping to get out the next day. I have rang and rang and left messages but he hasnt gotten back to me. Does anyone know if he is ok??? I only live about 2.5hrs from Wagga so Im just abit concerned. No updates on his website.......
Emma
