Can anyone recommend or offer transport between Adelaide and Melbourne for a Staffordshire Terrier?
Being an older dog, he probably won't do well being flown over.

TIA

Jacquie

Jacquie give Justin of ANI_Transport a call (0438271343) as he transports more than just poultry.

I can vouch for it & highly recommend him as he transported two bottle fed lambs from interstate to me in September 2010. Collecting them lunchtime one day and not getting to me till late the next evening, yet both were well fed and twice as big as expected, more like sheep dog size than little baby lambs. All I can say is, he's friendly, prompt to return calls & emails, reliable and affordable, what more could you ask for!

And I've just emailed him another job tonight!

hi all I have been shipping poultry since the 1980s and in the last few years I have used the following.
to go to Tasmanian we used dog trainers. We moved 300 birds all arrived in great shape.

Many of my clients use david Hartwige and I have had great reports about him.
I recently sent some very top quality malays to Taree with ani trans and got rave report from my client on my friend juston blair who runs ani trans.

I also receive 1000s of day olds by air through quantas BUT the sender has a contract and the rates are very cheap. Sydney to Albury $40.00, Brisbane to Melbourne $50 flat fee and then $15 per box.

One of my other suppliers use Barnetts from Sydney to Albury and they are good on day olds and well as I get ducklings from Melbourne out of a Mansfield carrer but I do not know their name sorry.

Hi John,

Welcome to the forum. :)

I suggest that you make a separate post putting details in the heading.

It probably would be an idea also to mention approximate numbers and types of poultry that you need to be carried.

Good luck.

I just got 5 pens brought from 4 different locations starting at gatton and finally being delievered to rocky one was an 18 month old peacock by justin (anitrans) he took great care of the birds. I have discussed with him and if more people show an interest in deliveries or pick up in land from rocky to emerald QLD he would be happy to add this as part of his run.

Hi everyone, bit new to this chook transporting so just to give everyone an update.....I just called the mobile no.s for David H regarding some transport and was advised to send him an email to 'lonepine@bordernet.com.au' with details, with where to and from, how many, etc and he will get back to me. It sort of sounded like it was best not to call him??
Will let you know how l go!

I've used Daren from Pets2U before for dogs, goats and ducks. He's fantastic, highly recommend him. http://www.pets2u.com.au/
