hey

i was hoping if you's could tell me what you think of my new brooder coz i havent used it yet. as you can see in da pic it has a big brooder on top and a small one on the bottom. i will cover the floor wif newspaper and then sum shavings maybe?? and in the second pic u can see it opens up big at the back for easy cleaning. sorry if my photos are to big [/img][urhttp://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h19/sebrightfan/flood093.jpgl]

Looks pretty flash compared to what I use :D
The only dissadvantage is that you can't adjust the height of the globe. I would recommend having a few spare globes on hand of varying wattage. Also I have found these disposable globes have fairly limited life, so it would be important to be able to hear the chicks chirping if the light goes out

Wow, a very flash brooder!!! I like it, what is the inside made from? and what is the face of the brooder made from?

I really like the design, might even get dad to have a crack at buliding something similar. But then again, I prefer the hen to the brooder, for obvious reasons.
