Kazlee,
You noted that you couldn't get the humidity quite right in the dry weather, I presume this means it was less humidity than usual for this batch. The question I ask is "Did it affect your hatch rate at all"?

Well that's a hard one, because I ended up tossing about 15 eggs in the bin only to hear them cheeping half an hour later. So I took them out of the bin, three hatched fine, but I don't know how many I killed. So out of about fifty five eggs I got about thirty eight chicks, It was actually a good hatch, but I did do a lot of mucking around trying to get the humidity right. I don't have a thermometer, either, I just go by how the eggs feel, You can get the hang of it after a while. You know when its right, the eggs get a sort of smooth feel, if their like squeeky dry, they are too dry. Can't explain it real well.
