I started with a hovabator which worked well but I we had lots of power problems at home at the time and I just wasnt able to use it. Hopefully these issues are resolved now and I am ready to get a new one, thought I would step up. I am attracted to the Lyon because of the external water bottle. Hubby keep forgetting to top up the bator when I was away. Please let me know if anyone has used these type and what they think.
Appreciate any advice

Hi,
Yes I use a lyon (used to be known as a marsh rollex). It is a nice quiet incubator. Set and Forget, except for topping up the water.
I would recommend it to anyone.
regards
Brent

Those top up water bottles aren't that complicated, they work on the same principle as really cheap (dome type) waterers for chickens.
It would cost about $2 to add that feature to any incubator.
