We are away for a 4 day trip soon, and I want to collect some eggs before the trip, to set after we return. I had the idea that I would put them in the Octogon 20, with the turning cradle on, but the incubator off, and the lid off.
Has anyone tried this? It seems like a good idea - would there be a down side?

can't hurt to give it a try and you have a way of making sure the eggs are turned while you are gone, good thinking 99
