We had 7 turkey eggs posted to us from Far North Queensland to Tasmania. Of the 7 eggs, 6 of them hatched (in the E2) and the 7th one unfortunately died after it had pipped (got turned upside down in the hatcher by one of the other poults and drowned). Fantastic result considering the distance they travelled. :claps: We had so much trouble trying to hatch last year, (in a turbo fan, auto turn hovabator) it was driving us crazy, and that was with our own healthy birds.
A special thank you goes to Natobeth for sending the eggs. :thanks:
We've had 100% hatch rate with the dorkings and we've also had a great result with posted chicken eggs. Again in the E2. I know now I wouldn't consider using anything else to incubate. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
Craig
