Hi Tia and welcome. Brooders are not hard to make/improvise. How many chicks do you want to brood?
There are several threads showing some ideas - do a search using 'brooder' or have a look through incubation and rearing.

If you are new consider the flat plate type brooders such as the ecoglow Titan incubators also make one.

if you run the brooder a lot the energy savings can be considerable.

I second the improvising one idea.

A large cardboard box will do it, an old fridge, a large plastic container. All depends on how many you want to hatch.
