Currently overnight temperatures are about 20C here. Chickens are 4 weeks old and look to be fully feathered.
They have an Eco Glo 50 warmer which they tend to sit on rather than under now.
As they are getting too boisterous for their current cage and also putting out a lot of waste, I would like to move them to the next chicken house.
My question is...would they be OK to go without heat? The flooring is Protec but there is a perch. It would be much easier to keep clean.

If they are fully feathered and your local temps are mild, then they should be fine. 4-6 weeks is fairly typical to kick them out of the brooder.

personally if they have feathers across their shoulders they should be fine providing the weather stays mild.

if they were outside and it came up cold wet and windy it would be wise to check on them.

We have had some wet weather & I have been holding off but these dirty little devils need to be moved into their new quarters.

So seeing as tomorrow should be the start of some fine weather they can prepare themselves for the BIG move. YAY!!
