I got a Wyandotte I have been waiting to go broody, and when I come back from holidays, guess what....
she just gone broody, I rang my friend up how I can get fertilize eggs and she is coming on Friday with them.
the Wyandotte I have had for about 1 - 2 years. I think this is the first time she is broody.
but this lot of eggs I am trying the 3rd time, to learn how to hatch little chickens.
because I never hatch chickens before. and I what to learn how to hatch chickens, look after them, and how to id them for roosters.

Good luck and if she's like mine when broody watch out for your fingers :aaargh: as mine even the bantams are quite vicious when broody, not like the silkies, the welsummer is broody to now and easy to handle, hasn't tried to peck me at all :whist have 1 slw large sitting on eggs at the moment too and i leave her well enough alone or else she's :mmaad.

thank you, mycoola,
she has picked me for 2 days that she has been broody.
I get the fertilise eggs Friday, so I got the run ready for the transfer Friday night. Then she will be on her own and the other girls cart deserve her.

hay hi there 70%cocoa good to here from you again.
thank you for the cross fingers, this is the 3rd time to try it.
the same person that gave me the eggs I am getting again. I know the last lot was fertilised because I checked them and saw the air sack, the hen did not last the time of hatching eggs. So this time I hope she last the distance.

I transferred the broody hen tonight, at first she did not sit on the eggs, she what'd to stay behind the Hessen bag, so I put the eggs on that side were she what'd to be.

now to wait for 21 days.
