am very excited at them moment and having a lot of fun watching the new born, today I saw mum and the chicks come out of the coop.

I put a little ramp up because the coop is higher than the chicks

thank you, I have never felt so excited about anything for a long long time, but watching mum and the chicks, is so good to watch.

mum wont let me touch the chicks, even when I open the door she brush her feathers up, to protect the chicks, and it is so good to watch.

She sounds like a wonderful mother.

It's so good to hear that you are enjoying the chicks so much. After trying so hard for so long, and putting so much work in, you really deserve this great result.

Aw, they look very healthy and happy :)

Leg colour is genetic, so that is why your chicks have diffetent coloured legs.

Different breeds have different coloured legs. You said that you might have some Plymouth Rocks - they should have yellow legs and feet.
They do look like a happy family.
