note to self: do not get sick over christmas, you lose track of days!!

mumma silkie was put back in pen with adults after raising chicks. surprisingly she was soon back to laying!

not so surprisingly, she went broody again, and unbeknownst to me, two of my other silkies had eggs--last i looked they didn't!!!

soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

last night, i found 24 silkie chicks hatched out!! ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh wow!!!

the back verandah which i had literally just cleared of the last batch o chicks is back in action again as a nursery!!

yes possum corner, that is what i thought! and they are all so gorgeous. some will be wheaten, some will be partridge, and maybe some buff!
