I purchased two (fully feathered) 8week old chicks from a breeder wiki had them under a heat lamp with many others. I have been turning off the Brinsea brooder during the day but on at night. It has been around 7/8 degrees at night. My question is: for how long should they need heat at night in a warm enclosure? Many thanks :th

At 8 weeks and fully feathered they shouldn't need heat so long as they have a warm, draught free place to sleep. I would wean them off night time heat before they go outside, then provide plenty of bedding material for them to snuggle into as they will not have all the body heat generated by a larger clutch. By 8 weeks mine are often perching.

in a warm enclosure that should be fine.

Unless there is a cold snap forecast they should be able to go outside.
