I have an old King Suro that has been chugging away for a long time.

the silicon tube for the water pump perished.

I approached Belsouth for a replacement the tube they sent was perished.

I did not notice this before I installed it however it gave less than 30 minutes service.

I complained and after making me feel like a scabby con artist they begrudgingly sent another one.

This one has also started to leak.

Does anybody have any ideas on on an alternative to the tube Belsouth sell for the King Suro?

It is only regular silicon tubing - hardware, irrigation supplier, aquarium supplies, auto spares should all sell it by the metre. Did you replace the short bit inside the pump - that's the one which generally causes the problem?

I gave up on the tube and put egg cartons inside and dampen a bit and it provides enough for the whole incubation period.

Where is it leaking from? Both my Suro's are about 10 yrs old I have had no leaky problems with them - still have the original tubing in one.

it was the long parts of the tube there sides of the pump.

the tube was quite yellow compared to the new tube it was also a lot stiffer.
