Hi
Just wondering if anyone can help with a couple of questions please. I've borrowed a friends incubator and this is my first time incubating eggs.
Everything seems fine temp and humidity are good
I can't get the days to reset and I've held and pressed the reset button numerous times
My humidity is around 55 which I think is ok for day 1-18 but I'm wondering if there any tips for raising it on day 18 as I've added a substantial amount of water to the 2 channels and it hasn't risen much? Btw I'm just testing at the moment no eggs in there yet. Would the eggs still hatch without a significant humidity rise? Thanks for any advice you can give

It can be hard to get the humidity up in the JN unless the ambient humidity is high. The easiest way is to put a cloth/ chux in and keep it damp. Once the hatch begins the humidity will rise but monitor it towards the end as it will drop as things slow down. My reset button is a bit 'fragile' - don't worry about it.

Here is a link to some plain English instructions - the original Chinglish ones can be a bit challenging.

If the humidity alarm drives you bananas going off in the middle of the night, set it to about 25% and top up to 45%ish. It doesn't matter if it fluctuates during the first 18 days

Thanks Sue :) that's great info
Do you know if there's anything else I should try pressing for reset? It's currently saying 65 days lol
I though I read somewhere about pressing reset and set together?
Thanks again
