this is my first time at this,my hen has stayed on the eggs for a week and was off when I came home this morning,i felt the eggs and they weren't real warm but not cold either,would this be ok ? I thought theyd have to stay warm to touch? shes back on them now.this is the first time ive seen her off them though.im just a concerned mother :read

They will be fine - they maintain their core temp for ages and even some periods of complete chilling are not always bad. Trust her
