My first chick is about to hatch from incubator and I was wondering if I'm supposed to help it hatch or do I just let it happen naturally? Also, once the hatching process starts how long does it take to complete? Thanks

Don't touch it. Sit on your hands. Don't open the incubator. Keep the humidity at least 60%. Chicks may take up to 48 hours to fully hatch. It's hard work - they may take long rest breaks. They can then stay in the incubator for another 48 hours - they will be sustained by the absorbed yolk sac.
