Hi there,

Well I have taken the plunge and bought a cheap P&I incubator Model: PI-24
My first incubator, the instructions are awesome (NOT!)

I just wanted to see if anyone has one.

I have a couple of rookie questions (some generic, some related to the machine)
1. what should the temperature be set at for hatching chickens? 37deg C?
2. What should the humidity be set at?
3. Does this unit tell you the humidity and if not, what is the best way to monitor it.
I presume buy a guage and put it inside the unit

Hope someone can offer some advice

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve, have a look at the last post in this thread (on page 2): viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8020056 It’s got a link in it to a discussion about this incubator on another (American) forum. Might be helpful.
