i had 5 chicks hatch over the weekend which was a big deal as it was my first hatching, i was more nervous than with the birth of my two children! Thanks to Deb at www.bookachook.com in melbourne, and all her support, who hired me her lovely broody hen, Betsy, to hatch some eggs. The five chickens are 1 peknin, 1 R.I.R and 3 australorp batams.

Thank you also for everyones quick help when i needed it.
kind regards holly.

Congratulations Holly,
you've caught the bug hehe. Aren't they delightful. Don't be too horrified at how quickly they grow out of their fluff though. They grow terribly fast and i'm anxious to hatch more out soon just have to have my cuties back.
regards
Darrssy
