I've been browsing another forum, I think most of the users on it are from North America. I've seen a lot of mentions of All Flock feed- a lot of people say on them that if you have a mixed age flock with layers and non layers that layer feed shouldn't be fed and an all flock feed should be used. However (I'm in Tasmania) I don't believe that I've ever seen anything marked as such in the feed stores I've been in. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thank You!

What is the age range of your chickens?

Sounds like marketing. Layers need more calcium than non-layers, so I can’t see how a feed could be formulated to suit all. However, from a certain age (say, 3 months) it’d be fine to feed layer feed to everyone.
