Got a pair of GLW bantams the other week, poor rooster has been sleeping in here:

This week, picked up an old discarded fish tank cabinet someone threw out:

So after an hour and $50 (for the foam sheets from Clarks Rubber), the cabinet was transformed into a new Rooster night box:

Huge improvement for his sleeping arrangements and hopefully it will keep him quiet until we let him out at around 8:00am each morning.

Great use of the cabinet! Do you plan to put a perch in there for him? I don't know that it's necessary - just curious though :)

Yes 70%cocoa, there is a perch in the night box, it's hard to see, but it's in there.

And yes kiew, the top, and back is from black rubber sheets from clarks rubber, similar to this:
