i have a chook that needs one for a pendulous crop,can you buy these?does anyone on here make them by chance?or can anyone tell me how i can make one please.thankyou

also watching with interest...i have a silver laced dotte with a pendulous crop, i find if her diet consists of mainly pellets its not too bad, but if she has whole grains her crop really slows down and distends.

thanks macl27,thats great,only i kinda lost 'the how to make' about a quarter way through,i'll have to read it a few times to get the gist,if that fails,hubby is good at deciphering instructions

hi there,sorry for long delay with this,strange ending is that before i got to put it on her i had it inside the house and my two cats must have been playing with it and have lost it!! i have never found it!! i know what youre thinking,more housework and i might find it lol,so weird.so i ended up getting her operated on and removed a big blockage but it stayed the same and she was showing a lot of discomfort so i ended up putting her down about 3 mths ago.sorry to not report back i kinda got lost in things as you do these days :-)

You should be looking at fixing the problem NOT propping it up ;-)
Easily done by restricting the quanity of feed at the one time ( some time in solitary ) with the aid of fistly some NILSTAT too. :-D
